BF2042 Randomly kicked from servers

Hello, i'm writting here because EA support is useless and it seems like they banned me from using contact advisor because every topic i opened doesn't let me choose that option.  As always, resume case does absolutely nothing ( in inspect element it just shows font image lol ), so i guess this is my last resort for help.

I've attached image below, basically after 5-10 mins of gameplay i get randomly kicked out of the game.

I already tried following

- Validating game files

- Reinstalling game

- Reinstalling EA app

- Enablin DNS client cache services

- Changing VPN, disabling VPN, setting custom DNS to google...

- Deleting temp directory, deleting EA games, clearing cache registry and many other solutions.

Internet is working fine, i'm playing every other game without any issue, and i'm playing other EA games as well ( Apex Legends, i know its not relevant due to infrastructure difference but ye...)

I'm out of options, please help if you can. Since its not possible to contact EA anymore for some reason, and you can't open ticket ( lol ), hopefully you can assist me.

  • @Deityftw Same here for past month or so... I assume you're also from Serbia or the balkans since the issue seems to be localized in our region.

    Brate, i meni se isto sve desava zadnja 2 meseca. Apsolutno sve radilo bez greske i ne mogu da sastavim fazon par min i samo izbaci. Me happens same thing, discoonected from server after few min of playing, and show cant connect to ea server. I m try everything what i found on internet, but nothing help. Absolutely everything, chat support doesnt know anything, cant help and last time just say me to go to forum and find help :DD i dont know what to do more really....

    @CLOWNVID-19you are correct, i'm also connecting from balkan region.

    @SRB_Mrdaki think i know the initial cause of it. Steam for some reason ships either outdated or modified anticheat version, you can check that by installing EA anticheat separately from EA site and see the difference. Also, if you go to validate game files, there's ALWAYS 3 corrupted files, no matter how many times you do validation.

    EAAntiCheat.GameServiceLauncher.dll
    EAAntiCheat.GameServiceLauncher.exe

    The logfile is in (default) path "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\logs\content_log.txt", which gives a much more verbose explanation than simply just "3 files failed to validate and will be reacquired". The 3 files show validation errors, and steam performs an update to reacquire these updated files.

    I have tried all the solutions but sadly no luck. I'll try to make some custom patch and get back to you.

  • @Deityftw Yeah I've also noticed that it uses a wrong AC version if the game is owned on Steam, hopefully we'll get a fix this year.
