BF2042 will not start with 528.49 - get DirectX failure - E_INVALIDARG

Using latest NVidia driver 528.49 on Gigabyte RTX 4080

Everything else up to date on Windows 10

Was working with the new season patch a few days ago.

Did a repair of install of game and made no difference.

Rebooted machine and retried - same error.

SOLUTION: Install previous driver https://www.guru3d.com/files-get/geforce-527-56-whql-driver-download,1.html
