Do you have any Autodesk software installed on your PC at the moment? I've seen some cases where EAC has had conflicts with Maya or other similar software, so I am curious if that may be what's happening here as well.

Yes, I have "Blender" installed - but that should not be a problem - because of the following reasons
- on a clean install of windows 10 - the first thing I installed was origin and then bf2042 - and it did NOT work then
- after trying all the attempts mentioned in the previous post (run as admin, reinstall directX etc) - no changes, not working
- then I installed BF4 with no issues - works perfectly from the start
- Blender was installed AFTER i tried to play BF2042 and it did not work
I should also clarify - im not actually getting the error code 30005
i am not getting any error at all - the anti cheat starts up and the game looks like its going to start and then crashes

Were you ever able to try starting up your PC in a Clean Boot to see if that makes any difference? For more info on how to set one up check out the EA Help website.
