I also have this issue and selecting the "CUDA GPU" in the nvidia control panel does not do anything. This appears to be an issue with the devs hard-coding which gpu to use somewhere in the game which pretty much guarantees that they never tested this game with multi gpu systems.

Yeah I'd assume so too as pretty much all games, especially new titles have an option to toggle which gpu to use. And more importantly they find and use the display output card... unlike bf which seems to not for some reason.

In Windows 11, open Settings (press Win + I on your keyboard), select Gaming on the left sidebar, head to Game Mode
on the right and then enable the Game Mode switch.
In the same windows there is an option GRAPHICS , click it.
Check if ya see the Batteliefield 2042 and EasyAntiCheat Launcher (add them if needed by browse).
Now click at the Battlefield 2042 (you just added and) select OPTION and choose HIGH PERFORMANCE (GPU CARD NAME), select SAVE.
Now click at the EasyAntiCheat Launcher (you just added) and select OPTION and choose HIGH PERFORMANCE (GPU CARD NAME), Select SAVE
does it change/fix anything ? Please reply !!!***SINGLE GPU (and dual gpu also)

None of this works at all the game just overrides to last enmuerated GPU. I even tried designating the slots etc just doesn't work for anything gotta physically switch slots for GPU's in system or disable one to get it to work.

@w33m4n_gamingTVhow are the monitors connected ? Displayport cable , hdmi or dvi ? Are ya able to set PCIE port setting in bios ?
And get cards out, boot witrhout card , then shutdown pc , and add one card , boot up pc , then shutdown pc and add second one !
And your windows is not able to set primary 1 and secondary 2 monitor ?

Same here. Have built in GPU in my CPU and a PCI-E graphic card. The other day my screen went black during BF2042 gameplay. Restarted my PC and tried to launch the game again. Same happen.
When i look into my devices i see that my PCI-E is disabled and my buildt in GPU is selected as head source...wtf DICE?
