ngl, i thought i was the only person who had this problem, but apparently it's a common problem. I have a RX6600 as my main gpu and a RX570 as my secondary and its trying to run off of the 570. i thought before that it was my cpu so i decided to swap that out for something better (which turned into its own can of worms but it's fine now) and its still running off of the wrong gpu. Idk how this is even possible when i launch the game off of the monitor my 6600 is running and i unplug my other monitors to have the game only run off of the main monitor. its almost baffling at how badly this turned out even at launch. i want to enjoy this game (i was one of the few suckers who actually preordered it) but if this keeps happening i might just have to go back to COD, and i hate COD but at least it works right

@Furry_Plays Starting with Win10, you can choose on which GPU this or that program will run. Try manually selecting the RX6600.

yeah it would be great if that worked but bf2042 doesn't honor those settings, it seems to be a multi-gpu parsing error in their engine, when using multi-gpu the setting menu breaks and they don't seem able to fix it
- Rokebo733 years agoSeasoned Ace@thegompa At some laptops ya got a mux switch (or look a like) to switch gpu use.
Also some laptops got the option in bios to enable/disable internal GPU.
I also have seen a workaround to lower the available memory for internal gpu to 1 or 2 gb.
Its also possible youre bios is out dated and got none of the options mentioned above here !
Any results, post them please !
