@Furry_Plays Starting with Win10, you can choose on which GPU this or that program will run. Try manually selecting the RX6600.

yeah it would be great if that worked but bf2042 doesn't honor those settings, it seems to be a multi-gpu parsing error in their engine, when using multi-gpu the setting menu breaks and they don't seem able to fix it

Also some laptops got the option in bios to enable/disable internal GPU.
I also have seen a workaround to lower the available memory for internal gpu to 1 or 2 gb.
Its also possible youre bios is out dated and got none of the options mentioned above here !
Any results, post them please ! - 3 years ago
I have the same problem. Tried everything. I have a laptop with an integrated GPU. Disabling the integrated GPU means that my HDMI port won't work properly, as the integrated GPU is responsible for it. Basically, I have two options - play on a 15.6-inch laptop display, or not play at all. So far I just refunded a game, as it's not playable at all.
Just a comment, I can play all other AAA games on my laptop without any issues (RTX 3050). It's definitely a game configuration issue, and somehow for EA, it's so hard to add a setting to change the preferred GPU or auto-detect the most powerful one. As for me - it's definitely a no for the game. I will check this thread in next few months, but I really don't have any hope at all. It feels like it's easier to launch a 15-year-old game using an emulator then to make this playable.
