Have you tried to perform a reinstall of the game already and see if you could directly boot up the current Xbox gen version? There also was an update for the game today.

I installed the update and same problem. Crashes when it reaches the screen with the boat.
I have tried power cycling my console.
I have a hard restart of my console.
I have factory reset my console
I have done a fresh install of the game.
Nothing works. I can still play the Xbox one version of the game with no problems.

I remember that a new Xbox firmware patch was released a few days ago solving some Battlefield 2042 related issues.
@EA_Leeuw I downloaded the update. I even enrolled in the xbox insider program to try the game on the omega update and nothing. The game just straight up doesn't work.
