Before I start: this is NOT a full time fix, but it has alleviated the problem somewhat for me.
So I started seeing some posts in the technical issues forum about this, where people found settings in game that help so I tried them and have had way LESS black screens than before, since the start of Season 6...
Firstly, this will probably help a lot more if you're running a monitor over 60hz...
In the graphics settings for 2042, I went to Fullscreen mode because you have to in order to do the following... My monitor is 165hz, but I lowered the refresh rate in game to the 144hz setting, even though the monitor itself is still set to 165 in Windows/Nvidia. Then I changed my textures and texture filtering from high to Ultra.
Since then I do still have black screens but they're way way less than before. I went a whole 2-3 hours of playing with friends with 0 black screens, and the next night I had one trying to LOAD my first game instead of after, and then 0 after that. I don't know why this helps but it has helped my game some.
Really tired of this. Please fix your game.
