Black screen and or freeze
I re installed battlefield 2042 July 30th. I'm able to play one match when the match ends I see the ribbon score screen the battle pass score screen then after that it goes to black screen with sound...

@EA_Atic I have tried a clean boot, I have tried putting all my overlays off. It's not working. I have repaired this game so many times and it's not helping. My hardware isn't the problem because I didn't have this problem before the 1.2 update. It was only after the 1.2 update that is when I was experiencing problems. So please fix this issue

- @ANG3LxDUST I've played the map Renewal rudux and it runs a dream, my FPS are far more stable in this map than when the game first came out. Ironically I still get the occasional load in/load out freeze before or after game respectively. My i5-6600k clearly handles the loading of the game itself... just not the transition between rounds.... damn frustrating!
I have a definitive answer...I can confirm it is either a hardware or software related issue! 😉
Jokes aside, and i don't know how much this helps others, but I can confirm from my end that it:
A) Wasn't my Network or internet
B) Wasn't my graphics card
I have just built a new system for myself and I'm still using my old graphics card for now (RTX 2070)
Been playing BF2042 for about 5-10 hours now without a load freeze or black screen.
So I'm afraid I can't help on this now chaps. Good luck with getting this sorted
