Black Screen during End of Round - Game needs to be restarted

Just Deleted and reinstalled BF 2042 for Keybind issue of game update for season 4(just found out it resets every settin for mouse and kb but wrong - thanx Dice).

I am now getting the Blackscreen of death during round (when it used to occur after first round) game is still running because it shows up on task manager.  yes latest AMD drivers

Never got a solution from original black screens , maybe I can have one now???????

Uninstall everything from ASUS !

Uninstall everything from AMD (armourycrate ect ect ect DO NOT install again) !!!!

Install origin (see url) and disable ea desktop from booting witrh windows.

use REVOUNINSTALLER to uninstall all unneeded software/apps.
If deleting apps make sure ya select ADVANCED to find any REGISTRY and FOLDER leftovers to delete !
Also use it (tools / autorun manager) to disable all programs/apps from booting with windows !!!
Make sure ya run/launch REVOUNINSTALLER AS AN ADMIN !!

After uninstalling apps/prrograms and disable apps/programs from booting with windows, check drives windows health first, read below:
Windows and Drives Health Checks

Windows drives check with chkdsk:
Press Windows key + 'R' ,typ CMD
Press and hold down CTRL + SHIFT and press ENTER.
When User Account Control shows up, click Yes.
Use the following command lines,

Now we gonna check if windows and system drivers are up to date :
Windows updates and Hardware drivers:

Make sure youre Windows is up to date.
Use those instructions to update youre windows 10
If you want to install the update now, select Start  > Settings  > Update & Security  > Windows Update , and then select Check for updates. If updates are available, install them.

Use those instructions to update youre windows 11
To check for updates, select Start  > Settings  > Windows Update , then select Check for updates. If updates are available, you can choose to install them.
Reboot system

Now update youre Hardware drivers.
To update any/all other hardware , chipset , sound, usb ect ect read below:

SYSTEM DRIVERS AND CHIPSET UPDATE
Do not download/update GPU drivers with drivereasy tool.

Click at Driver Update Tool in the upper bar and select Download Free Version.
Click at the green button with the text DOWNLOAD DRIVER EASY NOW.
When tool is downloaded select the file and run.
Install Driver Easy Tool.
Some drivers updates need to reboot your system, reboot system when needed,
continue using Driver Easy untill 'ALL' drivers are updated.
This free version allows only 1 download and 1 update at once.
Reboot your system

Now we gonna check if any hardware is causing issues:
Disconnect all "extra" hardware

To avoid any issues with hardware thats connected to your system and not needed for game, please disconnect all extra devices when pc is shutdown !
- Only 1 Monitor should be connected (resolution 1920x1080 60Hz just to test)
- Only 1 Keyboard (not wireless if possible)
- Only 1 Mouse (not wireless if possible)
- Only 1 Headset (not wireless if possible)
Disconnect Game Controllers - External usb drives - Dac devices - Camera's - Mouse pad's - (A)RGB lightning at usb ect ect ec

Lower all resolutions at youre multiple monitors !!
youre desktiop resolution 3840 x 2160 (32 bit) (144Hz)
I see 2 monitors with the same resolution and Hz !
try a resolution of 1920x1080 <-- just to test.
Your cpu got much to handle with those 3840 x 2160 (32 bit) (144Hz) settings, could be an cpu related bottleneck !
Ingame also use a lower resoltuion , set 1920x1080 at 144Hz

Also make sure ya deleted the content of BF2042 / CACHE folder , thats in youre DOCUMENTS folder !!!!!!!

Sometimes the game black-screens after I finish a session and go back to menu.

Summarize your bug After XP and battle pass screens display, screen goes black. Replicated on A brand new PC, I have one fried who also gets this often, one that gets it sometimes.
How often does the bug occur? Occasionally (10% - 49%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Difficult to replicate. My uninformed theory is that it related to one drive cache / replication. Perhaps try some lower spec machines.
What happens when the bug occurs? Black screen, games needs to be shut down and restarted
What should be happening instead? Continute on to next game

I have done the things already suggested like do a clean boot. This happened before and after most recent patch.

@Dutchie-Mario after 90 hours in the game I haven't seen this issue until this most recent update

I get this too, very annoying, nothing has been done about it, also get sound problems with voice comms sometimes working, sometimes not, change maps it works fine, change map again voice comms goes to default and can't change it, forced to restart to fix black screen and sound problems. Hope it gets fixed soon but who knows.
