not sure if you used 40mm incendiary grenades recently but they bounce regardless of distance travelled and more often than not fail to detonate.

Nah, they do not fail to detonate, they are on a pretty long timer, until they start to burn, and since it hard to follow, where the grenades are going, you have issues locating the flames as well.
I still do get frequently kills with it, but now it has a strong emphasis on luck and not skill, especially since I believe the bounce is using its own physics. Because I don't expect a grenade I shot at a 45° angle at a wall to bounce directly back at me.
Irish APS Shootdown gadget takes them down as well.
