    @FreeRiki looks like it has been done on purpose to reduce player v AI farming, also with every update since the release the easy AI difficulty was being raised for the same purpose... 5 months after release it was equally complex as "hard" AI, now it's few extra steps above; AI modes now play themselves to simulate a flow of active multiplayer game, soldiers get infinite ammo, therefore don't need to drop boxes, so do not help players farm... we can keep going
