Broken and Blurry Depth of Field on Bad Company 2 first person views

Summarize your bug Whenever I play as Bad Company 2 factions the weapon viewmodel in 1st person is really blurry, especially on non-Bad Company maps. As if the depth of field is broken. As near as I can tell it doesn't affect any other factions in-game. Anyone else noticing this
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Go into Battlefield Portal, make any custom mode using Bad Company factions. Again, it seems to be especially bad on non-Bad Company maps.
What happens when the bug occurs? The game otherwise works fine. But the weapons look very blurred, especially guns with smaller viewmodels like pistols. I think it might be a depth of field issue.
What should be happening instead? Not being blurry. Again, I genuinely think that
Basically I've noticed a problem where Bad Company 2 characters have very blurry first person weapon viewmodels. It almost looks like as if their depth of field is bugged or something. It's especially true on maps that weren't originally Bad Company maps. It doesn't seem to affect the other factions though. Anyone else have this issue? I'd really appreciate any advice or help on this.
Really, and I don't want to be that guy, but I think 2042 would benefit from a depth of field option. A proper one, not the one that only accounts for ADS (which doesn't seem to work anyway).
