I dont know if anyone else is having the same issues but ever since they launched the BETA on BF6 my BF2042 has been broken on PS4. I get an error message every couple of matches every single day that bounces me out of the app and I have to restart the whole game over. Any ideas what is causing this?
Been reported by multiple players for the last few weeks...all waiting on a fix from the devs for a patch but don't hold ya breath.
Thanks for the response. Was wondering if I was the only one! I believe it started with this latest update with the 60 items to gain by completing these latest rounds of objectives.
Don't worry you're not the only one. Yeah if you look at all the forums either on here or reddit etc you'll see lots of reports of the same error code CE-108255-1 going back since the latest update arrived with the free battlepass and iwo jima map.
Can play a game or two but it's constantly crashing and it does affect all other consoles who are using the ps4/xbox one bf2042 version.
Oddly enough, no errors for ps5 version.

I have been having the same problem. It started happening with the August 2025 update. I can't even finish a round witout it crashing. It will crash on my PS5.

What a bunch of hacks. They can't even add content without screwing **bleep** up. Is this supposed to be motivation to purchase BF6?? Starting to question whether I should or just wait and see how many bugs it has first
I decided to contact EA tech support and strongly suggest everyone does the same as no response on here about this. Ive put in a complaint about the lack of response from the forum itself, the constant in game crashing since iwo jima update and the loss of rewards due to the constant crashing.
Not sure if anything will be done but it seems like waste of time reporting in here.
