Thank you for the updates, everyone.
Can we try something else? I'm curious if changing the DNS on your Xbox makes any difference with this.
You can update the DNS on your Xbox using the steps below:
1. Open your Xbox Settings
2. Select All Settings
3. Select Network
4. Select Advanced Settings
5. Select DNS Settings
6. Choose Manual
7. Enter 8.8.8.8 as the Primary DNS and 8.8.4.4 as the Secondary DNS. This is the public Google DNS, but some people have mentioned that using the public Cloudflare DNS can also help with similar issues (Primary DNS: 1.1.1.1)
8. Save the changes
Let me know if you're still having problems getting into a game after that. Thanks again!
@EA_Kent same result, tried both of those DNS and did a hard restart in between.

Thank you for giving it a shot.
I'd also like to see if setting a static IP address would make a difference. The Port Forward website has instructions on how you can set that up. If you're able to try it out please let me know if you're still not able to join a game. Thank you!

I made hundreds of posts.

I'm on the PS5 and I'm still having this issue. Sit in the matchmaking queue, waiting for players to join and nothing. I tried to refund this game but Sony told me to shove off.
- 4 years agoHey,
I have the same problem on the xbox series x console. I have Static IP and Public IP. I live in Poland. - 4 years ago
@EA_Kent I set a static IP, same result.

This is so incredibly frustrating. I've tried to get a refund but I have owned the game for too long.
I hope you're all troubleshooting on your end as much as you're asking us to troubleshoot on ours.
Ridiculous.

Tried everything you've posted here before and after 3.1 and the issue persists.
The game has been literally unplayable with cross play turned off for weeks and it looks like this is getting to be a more popular or at least more vocal issue since 3.1. I don't see this listed anywhere on the list of fixes and issues being looked at however it's all over these forums and social media. Some of us haven't been able to play in weeks (unless we switch to playing against PC players with cross play on).
