Can’t Swap Ammo Types - Plus Menu - Melee Keybind Interrupts It

Summarize your bug I’m unable to swap ammo types on a gun. My melee key-bind is “circle” on my ps5 controller as is swapping ammo in the plus menu. Whenever I try to swap ammo types, my character melees, thus interrupting the weapon adjustment and never completing the ammo swap. This issue is also present in the PS4 edition.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Switch melee to circle and crouch/prone to R3. Try to swap ammo types. Other variable: My key bind for the plus menu is “up” on the D-pad instead of L1
What happens when the bug occurs? Unintended action interrupts intended action, causing intended action to always remain incomplete.
What should be happening instead? Ammo types should swap without melee interrupting, just as the other attachment swap buttons don’t do their normal functions when the plus menu is active.
Can’t swap ammo types in the plus menu. My melee keybind is circle on PS5, and the melee always interrupts the ammo swap, thus resetting my gun to its previous unaltered state. Square, X, and Triangle do not doubly attempt to perform their normal functions with the plus menu activated, just the melee bound to Circle does.
