It's 100 percent possible, look at the number of people who lost progression from playing against bots back in the day who lost 10s of levels and progression just playing against bots to try and cheat progression for online Multiplayer(google it and see all the complaints people had of loosing progress all the time). The company just isn't willing to do it for you. Gotta give them more money if you wanna do it again
Sucks because it leaves people who actually hit the progression cap, especially against bots only, in the dust
