Cannot bind extra mouse buttons to actions in BF2042
I bought a new mouse, Roccat Kone XP Air, that has 6 side buttons.
I am trying to map them to certain bindings under "Key bindings", but it doesn't work.
I am NOT having the know issue, where you cannot assign new buttons, and you have to clear the cache folder, no.
I can assign other buttons/keys, but not 4 out of the 6.
I also noticed, that one of them is like hardcoded for Q that brings up the commorose.
Is there any way to change this?
(other games work fine, also, I don't have any mouse software running)
I had exactly the same problem with a new mouse, I couldn’t bind the side buttons or the scroll wheel. I had to delete the cache folder and restart like 10 times before it finally worked.
