cant connect to any servers on either BF4 or BF2042

I am on xbox series s and am having this issue. I want to play 2042 but can't even get into a lobby because I am kicked back to the main menu. I am not given an error code or anything. I just start loading into the match, never get past the black screen, and boom! Back at the main menu. Has this been addressed at all?

    @Elemu5 yeah i got a few matches to work, but only after an update from EA. quick matches from main menu don’t work, but very select few from portal did
