Can't connect to BF2042 EA servers

On PS4, I can't get past the opening 'Connect to Online Services' screen. Keeps coming up with an error that its unable to connect to the EA Servers. Internet Connection is perfectly fine my end. An...

    If you're still running into that same error when you're trying to connect can we run through a few steps to see if we can get you online? 

    A good place to start off would be with the basic connectivity steps from the EA Help website. If you're still running into the same error message after that please let me know. Thanks!

I am curious if setting a different DNS on your PS5 would make any difference. I've run into some cases in the past where that can help with similar issues. You can update the DNS on your PS5 using the following steps: 

1. Open your PS5 Settings

2. Select Network

3. Select Set Up Internet Connection

4. Choose Set Up Manually

5. Choose WiFi or LAN Cable depending on what type of connection you're using

6. Select DNS

7. Enter 8.8.8.8 as the Primary DNS and 8.8.4.4 as the Secondary DNS. This is the public Google DNS, but I've seen some people mention that using the public Cloudflare DNS can help (Primary DNS: 1.1.1.1)

8. Select Done

Hello,

I am having the same issue and followed all the steps outlined above and still cannot connect to EA servers on my PS5. 

I re-installed the game and attempted multiple DNS configurations. 

are there any remedies? The game is unplayable for me.
