Cant download or open battlefield 2042

The game is installed yet the EA app won't acknowledge that and says that I have to download it again. If I try to download it says that there was an issue on EAs end that I need to restart my comput...

Hey @nighthawk1099,

Can you try to switch to the Origin app, instead of the EA app, to see if you can download the update and eventually also launch the game?

I was just about to reply saying that origin wont let me download bf 2042 on it and as I was opening it to show the error I get (says it can only be downloaded from ea desktop app) it started to download just fine. Ill update once it finishes downloading as I hope all my data is still there.
