Yes, all vehicles all game modes. It did not matter if the vehicle was damaged either, so i could spawn in anything and not be able to exit it from the moment i was in there.I did fix it though after trying everything else I could think of. Note the "E" key worked for getting in vehicles, just not getting out.
I went through each screen in the button mapping and reset it to default.
For anyone with this frustrating issue, the things that did not help me but might help you :
* Repair install
* Change Server
* Change Map
* Change game mode
* Change character
* Change weapon being held
* Fiddle around with swapping between weapon
* Spam the E key a heap
* Plug in a game pad and see if vehicle exit worked using that
* Log a call with EA, this was particularly bad as i clearly explained the issue and got a response about graphics card glitches and slow frame rates.
* Remapped the "E" key to the vehicle exit function in the settings page
* Reset key mapping on just the vehicle control page
What did work :
* Went to control mapping, and page by page set mappings to default. I had already tried just the vehicle type one.
Result :
I can now exit any vehicle on any map with any character as I should be able to.
I do hope this post might help someone who might come up against this issue. I should clearly also note all my mappings were to my knowledge default, i've never attempted to change anything there I just play with the default key mappings and always have.
