Cant fly helicopters/planes!

Product: Battlefield 2042
Platform:PlayStation 5
Please specify your platform model. Sony PlayStation 5
Are you using any software with an overlay? No
Which part of the game is the issue happening in? Multiplayer
Which part of the mode? Conquest
Please select your region North America
On which server did this happen?
When did this happen? (dd.mm.yy hh:mm) November 19
Summarize your bug Ever since I bought the game. Helicopters/plane controls have been broken. I can only go up and down. I can’t pitch right or left. And I can’t go forward and back making them useless to me. I’ve even tried remapping the buttons. And the aircrafts still won’t move. Haven’t gotten a chance to actually fly them yet considering this is all I’ve seen when it comes to flying. Please fix. I don’t know if it’s a bug or something else but it’s really ruining the game for me.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I have no idea. I downloaded the game. And the first game I played I tried to fly. A helicopter with no such luck. Tried to see if it was a control problem but re-mapping the buttons don’t do anything either. I haven’t seen anything with anyone Else having this problem.
What happens when the bug occurs? Every game I get into. Doesn’t matter what game mode. It’s 100% happens when ever I try to fly a plane or helicopter. I can’t.
What should be happening instead? I really want this to be fixed if it’s a problem to be able to be fixed

Can’t fly helicopters/planes. Please fix.

  • @starwars5832 OK so I figured this out on my own.

Go into controller, vehicles, aircraft control sensitivity.

I noticed that this was set to 150 for me. When I toggled it down, it immediately switch to 100 but the display bar still showed it was on max.

    Hope it works for you.

In addition to what you described, the pitch up/down rates on the jets are completely reversed. In fact you’ll actually complete a vertical, or horizontal loop significantly faster, by simply pitching down (if you have altitude), or rolling opposite the direction you want to go, and pitching down toward the direction you want to go.

For example: if you want to make a horizontal loop to the right, roll left first and pitch down. By doing this, you turn significantly faster than you would, if you turned like you’re supposed to (i.e. roll right and pitch up).

The pitch up/down rates for jets are reversed as well. You actually complete vertical and horizontal loops much faster by using pitch down, instead of pitch up. In fact, I know a few dedicated jet pilots who’ve resorted to flying upside down. Smh

Same here. Spent hours trying to fix and find solutions but nothing worked.
