Can't install games off of the EA App

Currently trying to install Battlefield 2042 via the preload option since I had preordered the $80 version of the game. Have tried switching the download location throughout all my hard drives and still just will not install. I have also checked my EA account to see if something with my account was causing it to not install and all I found was that my email at the time wasn't verified which I had done so, and turned on 2-step verification and checked to see if my account was an adult account, which it is, to no avail. If anyone could assist me in getting it installed or have an answer as to why Im unable to install the game that would be helpful. Thank you

    Installing through Origin seemed to work. I guess for the EA App it was failing to display the file destination that I had chosen was an invalid location for the install, so I found the origin games file and its now installing.

    What platform are you trying to preload on? @SatinicFajita

    Edit: I should read the title of the topic.

    @SatinicFajita I will remind that the EA Desktop app is a Beta product. Have you checked the Origin app to see if the problem persists there?

    Wasn't receiving any type of error or anything like that, just wouldn't start the download.

    Same problem here, i pre ordered biggest edition for playing EARLY, now i cant download game. When i press DOWNLOAD, i get error "Something went wrong with your download" or something. Have checked Drivers etc but nothing. Early launch is tomorrow and i MUST download game tonight but i cant! I gonna refund whole game if i cant even play early.
