Can't open battlefield2042 via EA app

Hi. I have my Xbox Pass Ultimate membership for PC and I have Battlefield 2042 installed. Yet I can't play the game. Because there's no play button in EA Launcher and when I visit my EA games library, it says "an incompatible version of game is installed in device. Please uninstall steam version to launch." But I don't even have Steam on my PC.

I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game 2 times. No success. I also tried uninstalling EA Launcher and reinstalling it. Tried clearing the cache via app recovery. Still no successful result.

I contacted support, they suggested some common suggestions, but the problem wasn't solved.

One of their suggestions was to repair the game through Launcher, but there's no such option in the EA Launcher.

I'm stuck and not able to play the game. Does anyone have any solution for this problem? Note that I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game.
