this piece of crap game and anticheat detects a virtual controller in my system while i never downloaded any. plz help. those ea support staff is useless. this is the same since 1month. i waited for today(10th sept) update but it did nothing
Do you run a Razer keyboard that has a controller built in? You may need to disable that controller.
thanks man. ds4windows was the culplit. I disabled it and bf2042 started running. no game does this crap. I really appreciate the help man
Hello, I can confirm this. Since the anti-cheat update the DS4Windows program no longer works for me either. However, I can confirm this for Battlefield 1 only. I have already tested it without DS4Windows. It doesn't work and I followed all possible instructions. I have been playing Battlefield 1 with the Playstation 4 controller for 6 years and with the Playstation 5 DualSense controller since last year. If we should play the game with a Playstation controller in the future without the DS4Windows program, then I beg, also on behalf of the community, the developers to implement Playstation 4 + DualSense controller support in Battlefield 1 in addition to a Xbox controller support. As a next update. That would be really great and kind. ^^
