I have had the exact same problem on PC and reported it under this thread. I had max class Recon and Engineers up to 91k-ish progress. Both of these classes reverted to T2 and stuck.
******As of yesterday, the progression started working.****** I am not sure if it was an update or something I did.
Of significance, I did turn off Microsoft OneDrive backing up the EA game folders. Then I did "the purge" again.
1. I uninstalled the game, then I did a search for and cleared all Battlefield leftover folders manually.
2. Restarted my PC
3. Reinstalled BF2042
No idea if this had an effect. The other things I did was:
1. Level up the rest of my specialists to T4 achievements
2. Started working on my repair tool progress.
I then noticed that my Eng Progress finally moved past 60k (after weeks). Repair is one of the things that makes the ENG overall progress go up.
I then played a round of Recon with Casper, just spotting with the drone. The overall recon progress finally moved again.
In the end, I have to re-do the Recon last Tier. It was maxed. Sucks
I lost originally 31k-ish progress for ENG then likely 50K more exp worth of play over the past few weeks. Now I have to redo 60k exp to get to 120k to max it.
Guess, at least it is working now.
