Control unresponsive PS5

On game boot up the controller is completely unresponsive, can't even press X to connect to the server.  I managed to connect to the server no problem as the center button still works allowing me to ...

    Managed to solve it after calling the Sony helpline, it was a PS5 issue not BF/EA.  I had to reset the controller by pressing the switch on the back on the controller next to the Sony logo
