Fixed the issue on my end by right clicking on the game in the Steam library, going to Properties, the Controller tab, and selecting "Disable Steam Input" on the drop down settings. Hope it works for you guys too, good luck!

@LiquidVenoms Yeah same with me. Using a PS4 controller on PC. Suuuuper annoying

I finally found a fix from one of these other threads, but I can't find it now to thank him.
If you use vJoy device, make sure to disable it. That's what fixed it for me. I bet other drivers like that one could cause this as well so make sure to check Device Manager and look in Human Interface Devices for some 3rd party drivers.

  @FreshhCOX what would I be looking for in device manager to disable? I don’t think I have vJoy device on my computer
