Couldn't Connect to Servers

Community ManagerHi all, just checking here. Are you still getting the error? And if you get this error, is it an EA app error, or an in-game error?
@EA_Leeuw Mine originally presented as a BF2042 error but has now progressed to an EA App error as well. For me it's only East Coast servers at the moment that I cannot connect to. If I select something far out of region on my VPN, connect and launch, and then select an East Coast VPN connection, everything works fine. Seems to be an issue resolving a connection with the servers initially. Once it makes that handshake all is well, but it happens every single time. I confirmed the theory (best I can) by testing it probably 6-7 times last night before posting on here. Issue still persists today.

And does it go away when you connect to a VPN?The App will load up, then when attempting to sign in- prior to the home page loading- it will display the “Unable to log in” screen and say “We will automatically restart the app to fix the issue” and will constantly do that in a loop. I do not have the issue at all if I VPN to a completely different region. The issues DOES persist if I VPN to my same region or do not use a VPN at all.
