Solved

Couldn't Connect to Servers

EAAPP updated and now get the error message "Couldn't connect to servers, a quick restart should fix it". But a restart does nothing same message returns. Cleared the BF2042 Cache folder and same is...

    After several of the restarts the issue has corrected itself and now connects properly. It seemed to be a handshake issue, at least that is what it looked like.

    Anyways it has fixed itself and is working as expected.

@MassiveFnChungus, alright, that is indeed very strange! Unfortunately, that does indeed make me believe that it's a local network (or ISP) issue to be honest...
