DEVICE HUNG ERROR

I keep getting this annoying DEVICE HUNG ERROR and NOTHING's work to fix it. Please help me solve this * so I can play the game! It's been like 3 months with this problem. I tried everything I could find in the internet, but nothing works

    i did what you said and it looks like it solved...i don't know why because i have tried installing the directx before and did not work that time around. Anyway, thank you man!

    ps: I also give the windows another update that showed up.

  • Nothing works, I keep getting this error.....I don't know what to do anymore, honestly, I tried everything and nothing solves this *.

    Yes, i tried everything on the list, and some more things too. The error does not dissapear.

  • So, I'm not gonna say it's a definitive solution, BUT, I put the V-Sync to On in the Nvidia Control Panel, to prevent the game creating too many frames and crash the graphic card's driver.

    The game did start and I could play a match.

    But after that, it went back to menu, and then loading a new match it went to a black screen and nothing more. Like a infinite loading......

    I'm gonna try to play again and see if it works normal or not.

    It did not, the error came back right at the loading of the game......I GIVE UP ON THIS.

    @Winter_SnaiperaThis game is in shambles , try clearing the EA cache on the ea app and also try deleting the cache folder of the game.

    Also try clearing DX 12 cache itself , people will come and tell you it's your PC's fault it's not.

    It's the game itself it hasn't run properly since s4.

  • Thanks for the tips, but it didn't work either. The game is 100% broken. This is very frustating.

  • I tried a lot (DDU, DirectX reinstall, netframework update, rollback GPU driver, etc. etc), but the following finally worked for me to fix the error:

    1. Open the Turn Windows features On or Off using the control panel.
    2. Scroll down and find DirectPlay in the Legacy Components.
    3. Check both components by ticking the box.
    4. Click "OK" and restart the device to notice the changes.
