Solved

Direct x crash

My game keeps crashing randomly, always during a game though never at the menu. It causes the game to freeze, then the windows bar is unable to be used. I have to bring up task manager, end task then...

    I had forgotten about this thread tbh, but it eventually stopped crashing for me - Im not 100% sure, but I think it’s because I started using EAdesktop instead of the Origin launcher.

@SordidWombat Check for errors
(K0) Type cmd in Windows search
(K1) Right-click on Command Prompt and pick Run as administrator
(K2) When User Account Control shows up, click Yes
(K3) Use the following command lines, pressing Enter after each (make sure you wait till each of the commands is executed properly):

(K4) sfc /scannow
(K5) DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth
(K6) DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth
(K7) DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
(K8) Reboot your system

(L0) Now reboot pc by a cleanboot: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/how-to-perform-a-clean-boot-in-windows-da2f9573-6eec-00ad-2f8a-a97a1807f3dd
Test your game !

Let us know what SFC did and if cleanboot fixed anything ?!!
