Direct X Error/Crash, Windows 10, GTX 1080Ti

Summarize your bug Constant crashes with a direct X error. Occurs when pressing Q (to spot) and other random times. Can manage about 5 minutes of gameplay before this occurs. Picture of error: https://imgur.com/a/YgoG7mw
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play the game on similar hardware
What happens when the bug occurs? Game freezes, Direct X prompt appears.
What should be happening instead? The game not crashing and me getting what I paid for; a working game

    @EA_Atic After the latest update the game now crashes on the loading menu after about 10 seconds of loading. 
    I have refunded the game until it has been confirmed by others as fixed

    @commandergregs I got a similar problem. While Changing loadout my game crashes too. But it says my GPU cant take any more actions (the game takes only max 20% from my 2070 Super). Or the game closes while changing weapons while combat.

    I had similar errors while playing the Alpha. Overall the game lasted slightly longer this time around and was more stable, but still not good enough for me.

    It's annoyed me so much I just ended up refunding the game through steam, I'll wait until this issue is fixed before considering re-buying the game

    @commandergregs @EA_Atic I Somehow fixed the problem after Hours of Hate. I first deleted the game. After that i deleted every file of the open Beta and also the released Battlefield 2042. After that i reinstalled the whole game. Now it seems like its working. But i think it wont protect u, to happen again. A friend hadnt problems until now. Now he has the DirectX Error. But thanks for the answer and help Atic. Very appreciated.
    Maybe it will help some other people too.

    @EA_Atic I have installed the latest graphics drivers, however I still get this error message after 5 minutes of playing.

    I have a 1080 ti and have the same problem. never got the game to run more than twice properly. I can't refund or even get past the ship sailing screen on launch.

    The chat now support team was no help... I have a BS in compsci and spent hours troubleshooting to no avail. Reinstalls... Ea app instead of origin... driver updates/rollbacks. nothing works. liekly a 1080 ti problem

    I want my $60 or the ability to launch the game!

    fix by deleting prof pref settings config file, and not OCing my gpu. but now I get basically no gpu usuage and horrible fps. prob with 1080 tis

    @commandergregs This solved my Directx Error issue where it indicates I have an error with the address "PipelineLibraryPcDx12.cpp".

    The way to fix the PipelineLibary error is changing the MachineGuid to d1eb246e-6243-4460-a88e-5d4e52b1ef6b.

    Windows key + R, then enter regedit.

    Under LOCAL_MACHINE, find Microsoft, then Cryptography.

    Under Cryptography you will find MachineGuid, make sure you back up ur original MachineGuid before changing, then enter the one provided above.

    This resolved my issue.
