I have same problem too.... boat scene comes and then boom DX crash.
YOU HAVE TO USE WIN 10 19041 OR NEVER !!!!
I was on older Version... now it's FIXED
Lets hope they will fix this, Why are we forced to get new windows for this game, when EVERY other game has no issue with my current windows os
I believe I'm on WIN 21H1 which is the latest version that came after 1904, but I'm still getting directx error.

my version is 1904, does not work
setting VSync to ON and lowering my refresh rate to 60Hz seems to have fixed my crashing... for now....
i'll report back after upping the refresh rate to 100hz.
im on 6800xt + 5600x btw.
like i wrote before... after update to 20h2 it's fixed... was before on 1909
