DirectX function "res" failed with E_UNEXPECTED ("Unexpected failure.").

Hi, running into this issue for over a month now. "DirectX function "res" failed with E_UNEXPECTED ("Unexpected failure."). GPU: "NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070", Driver 53141"

I can't run Battlefield 2042 and it is quite aggravating. I responded to EA_Illium on a different post, but got no response back. 

Platform: PC (Steam)

Region: USA Central

Are you using an internal or external drive?: Internal

Are you using an HDD or SSD?: HDD

Date this issue started (is it still happening?)?: Started 3/7/2023. Tried all other "Solutions"

Is anything else happening? Black screen in windowed mode, then the directx error.

I have attached a screenshot and the DxDiag file to this post.

    I have the same problem with the game and I use the EA app. At least this confirms it's definitely the game that's causing the issue. I've sometimes got the same error while the game is loading up to the main menu. VERY FRUSTRATING! My PC is freshly built and it runs other games perfectly.

    It's stupid, the problem has been around for multiple months. My pc is quite the beefy build as well. EA screwing us again.
