Directx function "res" failed

I'm getting the same issue ☹️

Slightly different error message but it's still DX and driver related, crashes my game to desktop about 5 mins in to each session 

I have the same issue. My drivers are at the latest version. My game would give me the message and crash as soon as I load into a game. I found a fix on youtube where you delete the settings folder for BF2042 and at first I thought it fixed it because I was able to load into a game and play for about 10 minutes until the error message popped again and crashed my game. Unplayable.

Same issue here with the game just crashing every 5-30 mins (random intervals). Multiple threads about this but no word from EA so far.

Can you add a Dxdiag so we can see what hardware and drivers you have? 

Make sure nothing is overclocked. 

Have you tried reinstalling drivers and tried older drivers?

As I mentioned in this or another thread, I have nothing overclocked and reinstalled/tried older drivers amongst a list of many other things which did not offer a solution, unfortunately.

I have the same Error.

it worked before but somehow it dont wont to work anymore

dxdiag is added.

I have the same problem . Did you fix it ? Please tell me how to deal with it .
