Disconnected on every games for every modes

Hello,

Since the last update, it's look like became "playable" (talking about CPU high usage).

But today, it's became unplayable because I'm disconnected all the time after few seconds / few minutes (no crash, no message, no error)...

I tried to play on differents modes, but I always encounter the same Issue.

I tried to reboot my modem, unplug / plug my CPL (and my ethernet cable), stop my antivirus, update my drivers, but nothing worked..

I have this issue only since the last patch (update #3). Do you have an idea ?

    Thank you for that!

    Looking through the Diagnostics it seems like some Windows components might be crashing. When you have the chance can you try running the Windows System File Checker tool to see if it's able to find any issues? You can find more info on how to run the tool at the Microsoft Support website. 

    Let me know if you're still running into any disconnections or crashing after that. Thanks!

    Hey @Eownn, 

    What exactly is happening when it disconnects? Is it just sending you back out to the main menu? Are you seeing any of the in-game performance icons popping up before it happens?

    Hi @EA_Kent 

    There is nothing displayed on screen, i checked the 'debug.log' in the game folder and there is nothing.

    It's just leave the game and come back to the menu..

    @EA_Kent Happening to me on the Series X as well. Random disconnects forcing me back to the main menu without any error messages. This started occurring to me after the latest update.

    On my side, it's happening when I do action which include an other player (friend or ennemy) for exemple i revive a player, i get disconnected, i start to shoot an ennemy i get disconnect, and if i don't do anything i'm disconnected after few minutes/seconds, if i connect to a game and don't pick area to spawn i'm disconnected after few time... as you understand it's totally random and the maximum connection time to a game is arround 3/4 minutes for me

    Do you mind if we try out some troubleshooting to see if we can help stop this from happening here? First, a good place to start off would be with the basic connectivity steps from the EA Help website. If you're still having the same issues after that please let me know. Thanks!

    Thank you for giving it a shot!

    I'm also curious if updating the DNS in Windows might help. You can change the DNS through the Windows TCP/IP Settings. You can find more info on how to change these settings over at the Microsoft Support website. Choosing the Manual option will let you enter a DNS of your choosing. 

    I usually go with the public Google DNS (Primary DNS: 8.8.8.8; Secondary DNS: 8.8.4.4), but some people have also said that using the public Cloudflare DNS can help (Primary DNS: 1.1.1.1). 

    Please let me know how that goes if you're able to give it a try. Thanks again.

    Same here, I'll just drop my reply from another thread here:

     

    I have a similar issue which I started experiencing yesterday but I do get a matchmaking failed error message. 

    I get booted to the main menu towards the end of every match, can't finish a single one.

    First everyone on the screen starts either walking in the air or clipping into the ground and after a few seconds I get disconnected.

    I play breakthrough mostly not sure if this happens in conquest, have not tested yet.

    Interestingly enough I can play rush in portal without any issues
