@xbenjiizz I also have this issue. Tried verifying my game files, temporarily turned off Windows Defender. No luck so far.

I'm getting this same error, spent all night trying different things. Still no luck.
Though something I noticed.
I tried validating several times on steam and every time it says '3 files are invalid will be reaqquired' the size of them is 24.9mb.
it updates fine then if I run the validate again it finds these '3 files are invalid will be reaqquired' like its just unable to fix itself (full reinstall didn't solve this either)

I keep encountering the same error. Ever since the update to the new Season 6, this error occurs every time I try to start Battlefield 2024, even with administrator rights. I've sought every solution I could find, but nothing has worked. I've repaired the game, deleted it, and reinstalled it along with the EA app. I've also repaired, uninstalled, and reinstalled the EA Anti-Cheat Installer, and removed all unnecessary programs and any temporary or useless files. I uninstalled launchers or games that might have the EA Anti-Cheat Installer, and updated all my drivers and Windows to the latest versions. I scanned my system with Microsoft Defender, disabled it, and enabled it again. I switched to secure boot in BIOS and reinstalled Windows to a restore point, thinking it might be related to a Windows update. Despite trying various other things, I haven't yet found a fix for this issue, and it's disappointing that I can't play the new season, which I was so excited for.

First of all, I'm sorry about my poor English.
I have a problem with starting BF2042 after last update.
Everytime I tried start BF2042, error msg pop up on screen and BF not started.
I'm on EA original version (not steam version)
"EA AntiCheat Service encountered an error. Please restart the game(116)"
A screenshot attached (Korean language)
What I tried to do:
1) check file integrity in EA App
2) clearing EA App cache
3) reboot PC
4) launch EA App and BF2042 with administrator rights
5) reinstall both EA App and BF2042
6) reinstall both EA App and BF2042 in another ssd drive
and nothing helped.
Please help about this. Thanks

I found a solution. Now the it workes, i can start and play the game.

Install the Program ''dism++''
Go to Disk Cleanup
Standard settings, dont change anything
But select ''temporary files''
Start the Cleanup, Finished! Close the Programm
Start Battlefield 2042, and it should be fixed

@Lallluk What the hell, this really worked! I tried Windows' own cleanup tool but that didn't do anything. Using dism++ (which I didn't even know before) fixed the issue. I tried the same kind of things as you, but no luck, until now. I really don't understand how cleaning up certain files in related to the game, or rather: EasyAntiCheat. This shouldn't happen, especially considering only a limited amount of people face this issue.

This is what I found out in the latest update of Battlefield 2042 (2023.10.10)
EAAntiCheat.GameServiceLauncher.exe in my folder is too old. Downloaded programs cannot install the latest version of Battlefield 2042. Following image is what it looks like when I running the latest EAAntiCheat.Installer.exe.Maybe this make me cannot running Battlefield 2042 (version 6)

Since the update i have been unable to play the game. At first we was in a loop "verifying game files" via steam. This was quickly resolved by using the "App Recovery" via EA App.

The game booted (great) - Then as I hit the player menu. The game is immediately closed followed by a notification from Anticheat. "Security Violation" - "EA Anticheat has detected an unacceptable configuration. Please ensure no cheat-related tempering software is active and restart the game. (117)"
I've been pulling my hair out trying to find the issue. So far unsuccessful.

This has happened before when windows released an update (Go figure?). Short of reinstalling windows (Again) I'd like to play the game now.
