EA Friends Not Working on PlayStation5

Summarize your bug Social menu does not show existing PC and Xbox (non-PS5) friends. Friends on other platforms are searchable but there is no ability to see friend requests from them or add them as a friend/join their party. The only option is to report or block non PSN players.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Randomly appeared sometime after the recent patch. Occurs whenever the game is opened. I have tried to close the game and restart it, rebooted the PlayStation 5, re-installed the game. I am still unable to see or add friends outside of PlayStation Network friends.
What happens when the bug occurs? Unable to see existing 'EA Friends', unable to send/receive friend requests, unable to join parties or interact with existing friends.
What should be happening instead? See EA Friends and join their parties/games.
Not sure if this is impacting other PlayStation players but I appear unable to interact through the Social menus with other non-PlayStation friends and players. Unable to join parties or games with PC and Xbox friends. Removing and re-adding them as a friend also did not work. Restarting the game, rebooting the console, and re-installing the game did not fix the issue either. I tried to install the game on PC and that worked for me. I think this may be an issue with the PS5 version of the game.
