Ok so I did the update and restarted my PC, jumped into a breakthrough game and was able to play for 3-4 minutes then got ejected for violating easy anti cheat policy. And now I just lost connection to the EA servers. These are the same problems I have been having since the game’s launch. Thanks for your help but I don’t know what to do from here. My firewall did ask me to give permission for the game to run pass the firewall security measures. But IDK.
If you're still getting this error, it most likely means that there's something installed on your PC that causes the error.
You could try to boot your PC into a clean-boot state and play the game to see if you still have the issue: https://help.ea.com/en/help/faq/how-to-clean-boot-your-pc/.

I did some more digging and found that EAC is installed on my C drive in Program File in a folder by itself and also in Mt BF2042 folder on my S drive. I don’t know how this happened but I assume that maybe this was causing the issue but I’m not sure. Will keep you informed.

@ReXGHavoK As soon ya install BF2042, EAC will be installed at the C: drive in Program Files indeed. That is normal !
Any other anti cheat installed from other games-> EOS_EAC or something similair ?
Uninstall EAC with REVO UNINSTALLER. Dont forget to delete files in (hidden folders) PROGRAM DATA and in
C:\Users\USER_NAME\AppData\Local
C:\Users\USER_NAME\AppData\RoamingReboot system
Now reinstall EAC, or do a Game Repair in gameplatform.
Keep us uptodate.
Thanks
