Easy Anti-Cheat breaks every time BF2042 updates

With every patch or update for BF2042, my game breaks! 


I've done the usual steps: 

Repair from Origin (also tried installing from EA Play)

Repaired EAC via their tool

Uninstalled EAC and reinstalled

The 2 errors I get are:

Launch Error: Unrecognized Game Client. Cannon Continue.

EAC: Unknown file version (BF2042.exe)

(see attached)

The only fix I can get to work is to download and reinstall the entire game.

Pretty frustrating...

    I just got the game and I launched it for the first time and got this error I have a 3060ti with 16 gigs of ram im not sure why this happened???

    First time fresh installed game and this error appears. Thanks, for wasting my time and hope. I better would've hoped for it from the beginning

    it doesnt work anyway cheaters are aloud to play with no repercussions..

    Awesome tell us how to delete the anti cheat but nothing on how to install it again, you guys have to be the most useless game company ever, never in my life have I run into so many problems simply trying to run a game.
