@Cemtexx Appreciate you chiming in.
Like you, I have played BF for years (I’m mid 40’s now). I’ve slowly seen the dilution of the game over the years.
Sad to say the least.
Portal was a saving grace for this game because at least I could get the game to feel how it should (partly anyway!).
And now Portal is screwed and has effectively locked me out of the game!
Seriously, if this isn’t resolved, I’m done with this Mickey Mouse franchise.

@creepnpeep I give up with it after 5 months, I held on as best as I could, playing on Series X, so yeah, cross platform without M&K is a pain, and that EA/Dice aren't supporting the console community as much anymore.
But making the move to MW2 this year will be better spend of my money than towards EA.
Looks as if, despite also having a rough start, BF5 is the last good Battlefield game worthy of the name, I just refer to this mess as 2042 and that's it. Apex legends is more accepted than this game to me.

I’ve stayed loyal to BF all through the years. But it looks like it’s finally time to look for an alternative.
I can see BF being abandoned and dropped by EA in the not so distant future anyway.
Sad times. - 3 years ago@creepnpeep if Dice didn't sell BF to EA in the early 2000's and kept it as own, they could of moved with the IP to a developer who cares, but I agree.
I see Battlefield as a series being abandoned within the next 3 years, either this title has been either abandoned by players, end of life (2-3 years) or early and not have all content released.
EA had the perfect opportunity to make an excellent Battlefield game for the next generation of both consoles and players alike, but they wasted it on what I call a "Hero Shooter". - creepnpeep3 years agoSeasoned Ace@Cemtexx Yup, agree
