Could you try the following steps to see if this fixes it for you?
Repair Corrupted Game Files:
- Press Win + E to open File Explorer,
- Navigate to your Battlefield 2042 installation folder and find the folder where Easy Anti-Cheat is installed and run the EasyAntiCheat.exe file,
- Select Battlefield 2042 (if you don't see this, select Current Game),
- Click the Repair option.

Yeah I've tried that multiple times with no luck. The game just doesn't seem to want to work for me.
I played it when it first came out and I didn't have any issues.

Do you maybe know if something changed to your setup in the meantime? Because you mention that it worked before without issues, I would assume that something is either now installed on your PC that prevents the game from working correctly.i have the same issue and have changed nothing about my pc during that time and tried everything to get in fixed but nothing will work
