Just to recap a couple of additional troubleshooting steps from this thread:
- Have the C:\ drive used as your ea app and game installation drive
- Temporarily disable your antivirus or other security software
- System apps that come with your PC could be interfering, try preventing those starting on bootup or otherwise temporarily disable those.
Thanks.
I tried that and didnt work, i have battlefield through steam and error still appears, also have eafc25 also same problem
Try these because it can cause the error but they leave it out. 1. Got use the ea updater and make sure everything is updated a cmd should open up to let you know.(auto update doesn't occur sometimes)
2. Make sure the account is correct if using steam so for example when ea asks you to login don't use email or Google use steam or Xbox whichever you bought the game from and link that account. 3. Make sure there isn't any dual logins like for halo it wouldn't work on my desktop and crash simply because it is on my laptop which doesn't make sense being the free multi-player but I guess they don't want you login in twice
It's an update they did cause I was playing on my laptop it stopped working and on my desktop it worked fine until ea updated itself. So only games like mass effect i guess.
Had this issue on the ROG Ally, and here's how I fixed it after dealing with it for over 1 year and not being able to play FC24 at all.
1. Uninstall EA APP and reinstall it in default location
2. Move Game files to default path and "redownload", this will detect the game and repair game files
3. Uninstall any other Anti-Cheat (mine was Easy Anti-Cheat EOS from Epic Games)
4. Create exclusions in the windows security (Privacy & Security > Virus and Threat Protection > Manage settings > Exclusions:
- - C:\Program Files\EA\AC
- - C:\Program Files\EA Games
5. Go to each of the EA Anti-Cheat locations listed below and add the Certificate manually <---- THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT
-- Right click > Properties > Digital Signatures > Highlight Electronic Arts one > Details > View Certificate > Install Certificate-- This goes for the following paths (6 total):
---- "C:\Program Files\EA\AC\EAAntiCheat.GameService.exe"
---- "C:\Program Files\EA\AC\EAAntiCheat.GameService.dll"---- "C:\Program Files\EA Games\<The EA Game You're trying to play>\EAAntiCheat.GameService.exe"
---- "C:\Program Files\EA Games\<The EA Game You're trying to play>\EAAntiCheat.GameService.dl"
---- "C:\Program Files\EA Games\<The EA Game You're trying to play>\_installer\EAAntiCheat\EAAntiCheat.GameService.exe"
---- "C:\Program Files\EA Games\<The EA Game You're trying to play>\_installer\EAAntiCheat\EAAntiCheat.GameService.dll"
6. Run EA App and the game as admin for good measure.
7. Enjoy
Again, this took 1 year to find out. I really hope it helps someone out.Hello,
I have battlefield 2042 anti cheat 115 error and i tried it:
Firewall settings: Allowed both the EA Anti-Cheat and the game through my Windows firewall.
Administrator mode: Ran both the game and EA Anti-Cheat as administrator.
Full reinstallation: Completely uninstalled and reinstalled the game and manually deleted the EA Anti-Cheat folders before reinstalling.
Steam and EA repair tools: Verified the game files using repair tools on both Steam and the EA App.
Installation on a different drive: Tried installing the game on a different drive but currently have it on my Windows drive.
Removal of suspicious programs: Removed any potentially conflicting programs, such as CheatEngine and x86/x64 software.
Full virus scan: Ran a complete system scan using Windows Defender.
Virtualization disabled: Disabled Virtualization in BIOS and turned off Hyper-V in Windows settings.
Windows and driver updates: Ensured Windows and all drivers, including GPU drivers, are fully up to date.
Command-line repairs: Ran DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth and sfc /scannow commands to check and repair system files.
I have latest bios version, and check all not windows service and stopped it, but didn't work. and i can't refund game because i tried first start more then 24 hours... I am also returning the EA play subscription...This anti cheat is invasive as can be and still doesn't stop hackers lmao. What a joke. If it at least worked and stopped hackers.
Games are absolutely full of hackers on PC
Go to EA Anticheat (AC) file in your PC and delete - EAAntiCheat.GameService this file. I did it and it works well now. If you start the game again this file will reinstal again by himself. I hope that I helped you 🙂
it is dead game now,
It's been four weeks without a solution on EA anticheat 155 issues, and I have decided I will never purchase games from EA again
Thank you.
