Sent back to main menu when server/map tries to load
Hello all, common but stubborn issue here. Please only reply if you have some fixes or info. If you have the issue too, please make a new thread so support staff see the forum traffic and forward info to devs.

BF2042, i clear cache for EA and Steam, i validate its Steam files, i launch 2042 via steam, it loads and announces that it has connected to the EA servers, i then confirmed that EA anticheat is running in the background. PS, Windows Defender Firewall has allowed BF2042 on both public/private.
I will search a game type, usually conquest 128, the game searches for a server and finds one, shows me the map-type and then counts down 3, 2, 1 etc, then goes to the loading screen
About 1 minute later the game sends me back to the main menu. Every time.
When i try and validate again, i get the same "3 files failed to validate" message
I have searched "3 files failed to validate" and tried alot of the forum fixes. Cant get this one fixed on my own.

Wild idea here - wouldn't it be funny if alot of people wanted to play BF2042, but they had this networking problem, gave up, and thats the reason why the player count is so low?!?!? I liked 2042 tbh, but ive had this issue years in the past and now have it again with a new build. Looking forward to playing again.
