error "start your game from the distribution platform"

Hello, after todays update I get everytime the error "start your game from the distribution platform [...]" I tried to launch it via Steam, via Origin, tried to repair the game files and restarted ...

"The team is working hard to get Hotfix #8.1.0.1 rolled out on Monday, 16th at 08:00 UTC for PC players."

@EA_cuervo the Anti cheat and even a complet reinstall of the game didnt work for me. Still the error ☹️

Thanks to everyone who provided an update on the troubleshooting steps.

The studio is currently investigating this.

Still not working same error..
Steps taken to try and resolve this problem but error still persists: Please note BF2042 is launched from steam
Steam: Settings, Downloads, Clear Download Cache
Steam: BF2042 Properties, Installed Files, Verify Integrity of game files
EA App: Help, App Recovery, Clear Cache
Windows: Run, %localappdata%, Delete all folders : BF2042, EA, Electronic Arts
Windows: Run, %temp%, Delete all files
Uninstall EA Anticheat
Install EA Anticheat
Repair EA Anticheat
STILL NOT WORKING
