Hello, after todays update I get everytime the error "start your game from the distribution platform [...]" I tried to launch it via Steam, via Origin, tried to repair the game files and restarted ...

"The team is working hard to get Hotfix #8.1.0.1 rolled out on Monday, 16th at 08:00 UTC for PC players."

For those that still receiving this error message, can you please reinstall the EA Anticheat for BF2042 by following the instructions on this article: How to install and troubleshoot EA anticheat on your PC

For me it worked using the AC software mentioned on https://help.ea.com/en/help/pc/ea-anticheat/

I first uninstalled and then re-installed

And it broke again (the reinstall of AC worked only for a small amount of time) ☹️
