Event viewer: Session "dc3a3596-71e1-45a3-b2ea-39ad5322fe51" failed to start
EDIT: Issue solved by running EA Dekstop app as Administrator. Can't believe I tried everything but not this.
Hello everyone.
So I have this issue with EasyAntiCheat. Basically, every time I open BF2042, about 5-10 minutes in I started getting an error "Session "dc3a3596-71e1-45a3-b2ea-39ad5322fe51" failed to start with the following error: 0xC0000022" every 5 minutes in the event viewer. After Googling, I found out that it's coming from EasyAntiCheat. I also tried every troubleshooting step possible, but the issue persists. Looking back at the Event Viewer history, I've been getting these errors right after the fresh Windows install. I uploaded screenshots which show the error.
Specs:
i9 10850k
Asus Rog Maximus Hero XII
Corsair RM750
G.Skill Trident Z Neo 3600 CL16 32GB (2x16)
Windows 10 Pro latest
Troubleshooting steps I've tried:
1. Reset BIOS and run on all stock settings like no OC or Underclock, no undervolt, no XMP > same issue
2. Update/downgrade BIOS > same issue
3. Try one RAM stick at the time in different RAM slots > same issue
4. Stock GPU settings > same issue
5. Tried running EasyAntiCheat with Admin rights > same issue
6. Tried adding EasyAntiCheat to Firewall > same issue
7. Ran numerous stability test programs like Aida, OCCT, Prime95, MemTest86+, Anta Memory Test > all without errors
Now, from what I've seen it always ends up being a hardware issue responsible for these errors, but I just can't understand what it can be. I would like to know if there is anyone who has the same issue and what else can I try besides ending up swapping my parts until the issue gets fixed. I want to add that there is no effect on my gameplay, the game runs fine/smooth. No crashes either. But it still bothers me because I don't remember having this issue about 2-3 months ago before I reinstalled the Windows (I watch Event Viewer from time to time exactly because of these types of issues). Any advice? Thanks in advance.
Hey there @Rokebo73
So I tried what you instructed, but left "Nvidia Container", "EABackgroundService" and "EasyAntiCheat" on, otherwise that would create an issue... but that did not fix the problem. DxDiag uploaded
EDIT: Wait, I think I actually fixed it. So the fix was to run EA Desktop as administrator, something I did not actually try before. The game has been open for an hour, even played one round and the error did not pop up anymore. Will keep investigating and in case this turns out to be an actual fix, I will edit my post.
