Agreed. Possibly the only specialist that can take out a tank solo is Sundance - use her special anti-armour grenade, sink the 3 M5 shells into it and then maybe lob a frag to finish it off unless in the meantime the tank is all over you and you're dead. If playing with mates it is easier but most of the time this isn't happening and the rando's you get spawned with end up doing their own thing and you're left on your own.
I've also seen recently that the LATV doesn't get destroyed from a single M5 shell direct hit to it. Could've sworn it did...
